Losinggrip while cornering will reduce the feedback felt through the wheel, but there isn’t much warning in the default setting. Setting the mechanical trail scale to between 150-200 is ideal. Combine this with a Pneumatic Trail Scale of around 100, which represents the deformation of the tyre.
AssettoCorsa Competizione > General Discussions > Topic Details. matt.c.y Jan 2, 2020 @ 3:31pm. G920 FFB Settings? Help? I've probably spent at least 2 hours if not more trying to get my force feedback settings correct. Not matter what i do the wheel feels really light and can't feel much of what the car is doing.
F12018 is really best played with a force feedback wheel, though you wouldn't know it by the default wheel settings. When you are trying to drive at the limit of grip, every little bit of information transmitted through the wheel is important. Lower end wheels like the Logitech G29 and G920, don't have the strongest motors to relay that
Butthen i launch Assetto Corsa i don't get any forcefeedback effects in the wheel. I'm hoping I just missed a simple setting that causing the issue. This is NOT a Assetto Corsa specific issue but 100% a Logitech driver/software issue on Windows. I have a brand new G29 wheel and with latest GHUB versions, Force Feedback is completely
its probably this. in system/cfg. there is a string under FFB with DAMPER GAIN=1.0 ( g920 owners should try 0 to fix ) Last edited by rudski ; Jan 3, 2016 @ 11:54pm. #3. Chach economics Jan 4, 2016 @ 12:07am. Originally posted by rudski: it's probably this. in assettocorsa.ini in system/cfg.
Openthe game, and go to Options -> Controls -> Force Feedback, scroll down and click the checkbox for 'Use Response Correction Curve'. Once you've done that, press Ctrl + L, then press apply. Re-open the settings and go back to the Correction Curve, it should now show you this: That's the short of it. THIS IS WITH DEFAULT LOGITECH
Damperis another story. In dirt rally the wheel and Tyre weight settings are using the damper ffb channel. In assetto corsa it's used for the standing still rubber feeling (which feels awful with Logitech wheels but awesome with my fanatec wheel!). So in ac, I like to put the damper to 0% too. With my fanatec, I have it at 100%!
Whenyou are playing on a lower-end wheel like the Logitech G29 or G920, this quite drastically improves the force feedback. I have previously written a guide for the original Assetto Corsa showing how to
Butthere's no force feedback at all from any game, no vibration or resistance of any kind (other than the centering spring). I've tried Assetto Corsa, Dirt Rally 2.0, Euro Truck Simulator, same thing with all of them. -Uninstalled and reinstalled G-Hub > reboot PC > disconnected and reconnected wheel.
ATip For LGS/G920 users: Open the LGS and Double-Click on the Icon at the top of the wheel labeled "Steering Wheel" It opens up a pop-up window "Axis Properties" with more settings for the wheel. Check The Box "Enable Centering Spring in Force Feedback Games" As you know Assetto Corsa = Force Feedback Game/Sim
