2002 330Ci 6-speed conversion. Hey guys, I bought a 3.30Ci 3 months ago. And it was converted from auto transmission. Now I have 3.38 final drive ratio and it makes my top speed about 230-240 km/h at 7000rpm. Besides, at my normal cruising speeds (90-100 km/h) my engine rev is so high (about 3000rpm @100km/h).

To me an e46 m3 price is very cheap and anyone that really wants one can afford one. Face it if you can afford a new car of any kind you can afford an M3. Heck you can afford 2 e46 m3's for the price of most new cars. The article makes it sound like the m3 is super expensive and out of most shoppers reach.

Its kind of like asking if its cool to stuff a sock down the front of your pants. ACT Streetlight Flywheel, ACT Sport clutch, Rogue Engineering SSK, H&R Sways, H&R Sport Springs, KONI
E36 M3, E36 LS1, E30 318. from another source: E46. The 323i brake rotors are 11.3" in front; 10.9" in rear. The 328i brake rotors are 11.8" in front; 11.6" in rear. The 330i brake rotors are 12.8 inches in front and 12.6 inches in back. It looks like the 330 performance package does NOT have bigger brakes.
In 2002 BMW said the Clubsport sat "neatly between the 330Ci Sport model and the legendary M3 Coupe", but the end product was certainly a lot nearer the former 3 Series than the latter.
E46 coupe (x2) The 328Ci 5speed is pretty strong in low-end TQ, but doesnt fully wake up until 4,500rpm and pulls great to high rpms. The 330Ci 5speed takes that and multiplies those feelings by 5, and timing lights comfirm that feeling also. I've never driven any of those cars with a slushbox so I can't comment.
The BMW M3 is without doubt one of our all time favorites. E46 M3s have been particularly popular on Collecting Cars and so we decided to go and meet Darragh
BMW E46 330CI Stats (2000-2006) Engine: 2979cc, 6-cylinder. Power: 231bhp. 0-62mph: 6.3sec. Top speed: 155mph. WHAT TO LOOK FOR. Cooling system problems have been reported with this model, so check that temperatures are as they should be on a test drive. Being rear-wheel drive, the unwary may get caught out, so check very carefully for accident
