Replied on July 6, 2011. Report abuse. Hi Barry, It seems that the default program to play DVDs is changed to Power DVD. 1. You may select a different program by changing AutoPlay settings. Refer to the following article and select Windows Media Player for the categories you want Media Player to play. Change AutoPlay settings.
