I had budgeted 3 days for Budapest and ended up staying 2 weeks. I just did Budapest and Prague solo for three days each at the end of August and I 100% preferred Prague, though Budapest was Quicktrips – Prague wins as the city is more condensed. It is easy to walk Prague in half a day and see all the main attractions. Long weekends – Budapest is the perfect destination for a long weekend.
