Zombies is just one of the new modes coming with Call of Duty: Vanguard. Along with a new single-player adventure that stars four distinct soldiers from all across World War 2 who come together to Call of Duty Season 4: Mercenaries of Fortune is now live, introducing traditional round-based Zombies gameplay to Vanguard with the addition of the "enhanced" Shi No Numa map. This is a map If Zombies Chronicles 2 does become a reality, it is hard to imagine it releasing in the highly controversial Call of Duty: Vanguard. As such, the options available to Treyarch are the rumored Vanguard zombies clearly borrows from Cold War with a lot of its features, but as another member mentioned here - it feels very "undercooked" in comparison. There are a lot of features I miss from Cold War, it feels more rushed, less developed. No intel tracking. No map ping. No daily challenges. Our pick for the best starting loadout in Vanguard Zombies sees the Combat Shotgun as the weapon of choice. Unlocked at just level 14, most players will get access to this gun relatively soon after Vanguard launches. Despite being available early on in the game, it’s a unit at blasting away zombies, with surprisingly decent range too. 2. Chambers1041. • 2 yr. ago. Vanguard has a better engine and overall more modern feel. Cold war has better zombies. Vanguard TTK is more in line with classic CoD (Cod4-MW3 style) Cold War TTK is like black ops 4 (gunfights take longer and multikills are more difficult). Vanguard gunsmith is way better, no contest. Vanguard is literally the same game. It’s not that bad, but it’s also not great. It is decently fun if you’re in the mood for it and you’ll probably like the core gameplay if you liked Cold War, but it’s severely lacking content, is clearly rushed and unfinished, and is just one objective based mode.
